A few days ago I’m trying Mozy online backup service I was VERY good, especially in the migration of PCs that I was doing with three advantages over the rest.

The software that allows you to upload or retrieve your file is versioned for Mac / PC and is one of the simplest I tested, has a “wizard” that lets you set when installing all: if you use the encryption for files or own key, the files that you “should” go up according to certain “priorities”
And then, in general, the backups are really great (in my case I stayed on 2.2GB 1.87GB available) makes you test the connection speed to not end up hating the idea of online backups;)
Other details
As with any online backup critical is the time to upload and download files, and always the first backup is long and tedious because you got everything up (full backup) but Mozy gives you the option to make the following incremental backups in the form block-level “that indicates this? rise only new files or those that have changed ….
My advice is that whenever you try to use these backup strategies, and use incremental backups up “scheduled” so that the daily incremental backup is made at night when you do not use your internet connection and computer / Mac works alone.
The other detail I like is the Mac client that allowed me to move all the files without a problem and installation much simpler than even using Spotlight, come to see the detail that the developers are all Mac Engineers;)
