Winter clothing must have been necessarily the invention of primitive man, particularly during the ice ages, but also in diverse environments that are quite cold, human beings must have adapted to extreme weather and an amazing weather, but additionally humans have developed the concept of winter clothing and uses of fire much before we even knew how to create fabrics or light flames. Almost certainly, early humans learned to utilize the skins of animals they hunted for cover and shelter, first just on top, like a blanket, and then with some sort of rustic work of sewing, have begun to adapt the forms of these skins to the bodies of people.
